👻 2026 Art Theme Announced: Night Parade of a Thousand Demons (Senki Yagyo) 👻

👻 Art Theme Announced 👻

Night Parade of a Thousand Demons (Senki Yagyo)

Beyond the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.
This year, it is "a thousand."

Each Burner's flame overlaps another's,
until they become a thousand souls and process through the night.

This is not just a parade.
It is not something handed to us by someone else.

A night born from our own hands,
given form by our own expression.

Chaos, incongruity, impulse.
Bring all of it.

All of it becomes the scenery of this night.

🔥 Thousand Burners
🔥 Thousand Spirits

Set it free, without fear.

■ What is an art theme?

At Burning Japan, an art theme is not a rule that says "this is how you should do it."

It is a spark for each participant's expression and ideas.
What you make, and how you express it, is up to you.

How a person takes the theme also differs from one person to the next.
Those different readings mix,
and in the end they become one landscape.
