Lessons from 2026
What follows is what the 2026 sale and the guide told participants. It is a record of that year, not the rulebook for 2027.
- One ticket covered the whole event. There was no day pass.
- Children could attend. Under 12 was free, and under 18 came with a guardian.
- Pets could not come in.
- A cancellation for disaster was not refunded. If you cancelled yourself up to one month before the event, Peatix refunded you. The 2027 sale page will say what applies next year.
- In 2026, parking meant around 750 people, so the train and bus were the kinder way in.
- Registered theme camps received a discount code. The 2026 registration form belongs to a finished season.
- A Gifter ticket paid for your place and also funded the Big Art Grant.
Buying from outside Japan
On recent burns the online sale ran through Peatix, which now takes cards from abroad more reliably. The 2027 sale page is not up yet. If a purchase gets stuck once it is, the fastest help is the English-friendly channel on Discord. Email takes three to five days.
