🎨✨ Art Grant notice ✨🎨
Burning Japan offers an art grant (a support program / scholarship) to support artists! The grant is a chance to realize a creative project and build a wonderful work together with participants.
🔹 Purpose of the grant
Burning Japan's art grant aims to support innovative, participatory art projects and, by doing that, offer a rich experience at the event.
🔹 Who it is for
It is open to all creators. Projects across many genres are eligible, including installation art and visual art.
🔹 Art grant budget
We have decided to set aside 5% or more of ticket sales each year and use it to support art projects and artists. One of our markers of success is to increase this amount every year while keeping the event running in a stable way.
Past art grant results
2022: ¥150,000
2023: ¥227,000
2024: ¥265,000
Cash actually paid only. Support for shipping, support for theme camps, and similar items are counted separately.
🔹 Eligibility
- Original, participatory artworks
- Projects that fit the event theme
- A clear vision for planning and carrying them out
🔥 How to take part
Details and how to apply are at the profile link! We look forward to your creative proposals!
Submission deadline: 25 days before the event (September 14, 2025)
The art grant does not apply to a theme camp itself. If an independent art project collaborates with one, you can apply.
