Notice: Burning Japan 2019 Is Cancelled
Shown in English. Dates and “on sale” lines belong to the day the notice was published.
“Burning Japan 2019,” which was scheduled for Saturday, October 12 through Monday, October 14, 2019, at Tsumagoi Farm in Gunma, is cancelled. Severe weather is expected as Typhoon No. 19 approaches, and we are putting our guests’ safety first.
We are deeply sorry for the great worry and trouble this causes everyone who was looking forward to the event.
The build crew who have been involved since before the event, and the members of the executive committee, still very much want to hold it. Even so, we cannot tell what the damage from this typhoon will mean, and that is why we decided to cancel.
We could tell that all of you had decided to come from far away, in Japan and from overseas, and were looking forward to it with theme camps, art, and many gifts prepared. We are sorry we could not receive that warmth this time. Please put that energy into plans for next year and beyond. Whatever you do, please do not head for the venue in the storm.
We are full of regret, but we ask for your understanding so that we can hold Burning Japan safely in the years to come.
As is also written on the back of the ticket, we do not accept ticket refunds. Please understand.
To everyone who has been concerned for us: we are sorry this announcement is late.
Thank you for your understanding.
