Final Reminder Before the Gate Opens

Shown in English. Dates and “on sale” lines belong to the day the notice was published.

To everyone taking part in Burning Japan,
Here is a short final reminder before the gate opens at 9:00 a.m. on October 6.

  • As Typhoon No. 25 passes, strong wind is expected from after midday on the 6th through early on the 7th. Do not forget the stakes and fittings that hold your tent down. Please do not leave things that blow away sitting out.

  • If strong wind or something else means we have to leave the venue, we are coordinating with the local government so that facilities inside Tsumagoi Farm and public facilities in Tsumagoi Village can be used, and every attendee can shelter indoors.

  • Once the sun goes down, it gets cold quickly on site, down to around 10°C. Please be sure to bring winter clothes: a down jacket, fleece, heat packs, and the like.

  • Dense fog forms around Tsumagoi Farm in the morning and evening. At night especially, you can see so little ahead that it is easy to miss the venue entrance and the rest house. Please drive with great care.

  • If your ticket is to be picked up on site, or you bought your ticket at a Meetup:
You can view the survival guide and the map here.
