Event Report: BURNER NOMIKAI #1 – Getting Ready to Light This Year’s Fire

On April 8, 2025, we held the memorable first “BURNER NOMIKAI”!
🔥 What is BURNER NOMIKAI?
To make this year’s Burning Japan hotter, and more fun.
“BURNER NOMIKAI” is a once-a-month gathering: get together, share dinner, have a drink,
and — loose, but steady — keep winding the engine up. That kind of time.
“I want to try a theme camp like this.”
“It might be more fun if we did it this way.”
“Will you listen to what I have been thinking about lately?”
…Conversations like that came up on their own, and we could feel the temperature of the community slowly rising.
🧑🤝🧑 15 people came, including one first-timer
Even for a first gathering, 15 Burners showed up!
Among them was one person getting involved with Burning Japan for the first time.
It was a night full of the excitement of a new wind coming in.

The next BURNER NOMIKAI is planned for May 6. We are planning the same kind of drinking party, though if the preparations come together it might become a meetup for first-timers.

and little by little grow the fire toward Burning Japan 2025.
