One Week Until the Event!

Burning Japan 2021 is now only one week away. Preparations are in the final stretch, and we plan to post several reminders before the event.

Call for Rangers
We are recruiting Rangers to patrol the venue.
Burning Japan runs on participant volunteers. Asking a Ranger who is making rounds about problems on site is the same approach as at Burning Man. This year we are recruiting 9 to 10 lead Rangers in advance as Color Rangers. For the rest, we will recruit Rangers at the entry desk when you arrive, to help on the spot on site.

Applications for Color Rangers close on Saturday the 17th. If you are interested, check the “gate” category on Discord.
A Ranger Meetup starts at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday the 17th. Anyone who is interested may join, not only people who have put themselves forward as Color Rangers.

Ticket transfers
As the event draws near, there are more calls from people with spare tickets or parking passes, and from people who want to buy them.
Tickets have already been mailed, so please contact one another and arrange transfers among participants. This is also being discussed actively on Discord. Check the “tickets offered” category, where people offer tickets.

Questions
At this stage of preparation, new questions about the venue and the event will come up.
Yugawara Onsen Campground cannot answer them, so please do not contact the venue directly. Use the “questions” category on Discord (questions and inquiries), or email contact@burningjapan.org.

The regular Thursday-night online Meetup is also tonight, and it is the last one. It starts at 9:30 p.m.!

The second half will mostly be an organizers’ meeting, but we will take questions from participants as they come. Anything you want to say or ask is welcome, so join from the Discord voice channel meetup_voice.
