A fire is lit on a night in Minami-Izu.
On a day in May, we reserved a campsite in Minami-Izu and held “FireJam vol.2.”
Even from far away, about 40 participants, more than last time, gathered and shared time around the fire, each with their own feelings.
I jumped on the Odoriko limited express and went straight there myself. Waiting at the end of the ride was a place apart, the kind that brought back Tsumagoi in 2024 and Iwafune in 2015.

We set up a DJ booth and a campfire and built the site. Participants pitched camp and cooked while they waited for night.

When night came, FireJam itself began.
Performance in earnest, around the fire
This FireJam reached a level you could call the real thing.
In that taut air, the performances were full of seriousness, tension, and the satisfaction that comes afterward.

Many of the people watching looked as if a fire had been lit in them, saying they wanted to perform at an event too, or that they wanted to practice more.
Please look at the photos and videos!
Photos and videos shot by participants are already starting to go up on social media and elsewhere.
That atmosphere is hard to put into words. Please feel it in the footage too.
Videos are shared in the community (Discord).
What’s ahead
This season we plan to hold it once more somewhere nearby. Details will follow.
And from August 8 to 11, “SummerBurn” will also be held on site at Tsumagoi Ranch, the Burning Japan venue! Please keep those dates open too.
