Event Report: BURNER NOMIKAI #2 – Burners Gather on a Night in Shibuya

On May 8, 2025, we held “BURNER NOMIKAI Vol.2” somewhere in Shibuya.
This drinking party was a quiet one, in a members-only, invitation-only bar. About 15 Burners gathered in a secret place with no sign and no website.

For this second NOMIKAI, Burners played DJ sets while an aftermovie ran on the screen. With the bar staff and the regulars looking on, we were allowed to make a Burning Japan space there.

The night filled with plans and ideas for Burning Japan 2025.

It was lively again this time. The talk spread from ideas for a sound camp and theme camps all the way to show plans that use fireworks, and we could feel the future of the event slowly taking shape.
We are also moving the conversation forward on how we ask first, how we spread the word about the survival guide, and what the Rangers should be, toward a safer and more distinctive place.

This one is mainly for first-timers. We will introduce Burning Japan and share the survival guide, including how to camp, how to prepare gear, and gifting — the things beginners worry about most. It is especially recommended if you want a sense of Burning Japan before you go to the site.
