About the Approach of Typhoon No. 19

To all participants,

Typhoon No. 19 is now approaching the Japanese islands, and we know you are very worried about whether Burning Japan 2019 can be held. We cannot yet decide, at this stage, whether the typhoon means the event will happen. We are aware, though, that the forecast for the typhoon’s track is a direct hit on the Kanto region.

As stated on the website and on the ticket, we will make the decision around 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, and announce whether the event is on or cancelled on the Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BurningJapan/) and by email to your Peatix account.

Whatever the weather, we are not accepting any early entry by the general public.
Please wait for the announcement, and come after 9:00 a.m. on October 12, when general entry begins.

Organizing staff have already been on site since October 5, preparing in case we can hold the event, but we do not intend to force it to happen, so please do not worry. Please keep hoping that the typhoon changes course, and that we can hold the event safely!
